About Arzel Fashion Handicraft

Arzel Fashion Handicraft was founded in 2015 by Bishnu Prasad Arjel, a veteran of Nepal’s fashion and handicraft industry with nearly three decades of experience. What began as a simple dream—to do something of his own and create opportunities for others—soon became a mission to uplift the lives of Nepali artisans and bring their craft to the world stage.

Over the years, Bishnu witnessed a painful reality: artisans—the real backbone of the industry—were often underpaid, overlooked, and working in conditions where support was inadequate and recognition scarce. Products made with heart and skill were being sold at export-level prices, but only a small fraction of the earnings ever reached the hands that created them. This imbalance needed to change.

With this in mind, Arzel was born—to correct that system. To offer artisans not just fair pay, but dignity, consistency, and the chance to thrive through their craft.

We work directly with skilled artisans across Nepal, ensuring fair wages, ethical working conditions, and a respectful partnership that values their expertise.
